Our main business is construction equipment rental. I sell tractors from our yard also. The majority of these tractors are trade-ins I have collected from new tractor dealers. This 2640 is a sound and dependable farm tractor. I don’t know of any mechanical problems with it. Perfect hay tractor at 70 pto horsepower. The cosmetics are not the greatest. It is scratched and dinged. It came off of a cattle farm. But, the price reflects this. PTO is strong and turns off and on correctly. Hydraulics are fast and strong. Engine starts quick and runs strong and smooth with no smoke or blow by. Factory dual remote hydraulic hook ups. John Deere model 146 loader is solid and works well. Clock is working and reads 2906. No slipping engages and disengages correctly – no growling or grinding. The above description is not something I take lightly. I don’t just “go through the motions” every time I list a tractor. I say this because, these things are important. And people just like me rely on the description I give. Some details I don’t bother to correct because of time constraints.
