3.3L (200ci) Turbo Diesel Engine – 63 HP. Allis-Chalmers 460 Hydraulic Loader included. 5 foot bucket included. 4 Speed Transmission with High & Low Ranges. 8 Forward Speeds & 2 Reverse Speeds. New Paint & Decals. Near new Steering wheel spinner. I have owned this tractor for 21 years and used it primarily as my feeding tractor. We have used this tractor to load hay in the summer and feed it in the winter. It always starts and does have a engine block heater on it for really cold days. I had the injectors and pump installed by a local shop earlier this year and have used it very little since. They also installed the dual stage clutch that activates that PTO and the foot clutch. The hydraulics work great. It handles a bale on the 3 point and a bale on the loader very well. The heater also works very good. The 6060 does have Air Conditioning but has never worked and I have never had it checked out. In the summer we take out the back window and the right side window for a nice breeze. I was saving this tractor for my oldest son but now has a job 300 miles away and wont need a tractor. I bought this tractor in 1995 after the ether can on the firewall had caught fire. Due to this, the hoods were melted and since they are not available new, I fabricated new hood sides as you will see in the pics. Also, due to the heat of that the dash is slightly melted. This tractor is very rare. This tractor was made with a continental flat head engine by united. United owned the model u tractor and allis-chalmers bought the model u from united.
The continental engines were put in u’s for two years. 1930 was the first of the two years. This allis-chalmers u is a rare tractor. I just put tires on it. The tubes on the rear are brand new and the tires on the rear are in good shape. I have never started this tractor but it does turn over free. The steering wheel doesnt turn, its froze up. I have kept this u under a lean-to since i have owned it. The gas tank is no good and is just on the tractor for looks. The mag is the original mag that came on the tractor from the factory.
