Ford 1700 Compact Utility Tractor Diesel 12/4 Speed 25hp 12v 12/4 manual transmission 2wd. This tractor is in great shape for a 1980s unit. All original to the best of my knowledge, sans the heavy duty front bumper. Recently bought another tractor, and don’t need to keep 2 on hand. Engine runs strong with only 1467 hours. May have a couple of more hours by the time it sells. 3 point hitch/lift arms work fine. Sorry I did not wash off the dirt from dragging my box blade. It truly is in good shape, and the tires are good. As such, tractor is offered locally for sale, and I reserve the right to end this listing early. Please look at the photos closely. Although not museum condition, this tractor is mechanically sound and ready to work. A few dings, dents and spots here and there. Only issues I know of: one headlight burned out and needs a new one. Right rear flasher bulb is out. The ignition key can sporadically be difficult to turn (only when you remove and reinsert so I just keep the key in the ignition). HERE IS A NICE VINTAGE TRACTOR (i think this is a 871 but not positive) – ITS A 801 SELECTO SPEED FORD WITH (STRONG) SUPERIOR BUCKET LOADER (WITH DOWN PRESSURE). TRACTOR HAS WORKING 3 POINT HITCH , LIVE PTO , AND POWER STEERING AS WELL. I JUST BOUGHT THE TRACTOR AND IT WAS PART OF ESTATE SALE. (HASN’T BEEN RUN IN A WHILE). THE TIRES ARE ALMOST LIKE NEW IN THE BACK AND THE FRONT TIRES ARE GOOD. TRACTOR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A WHILE BUT THIS PAST WEEK I DRAINED THE TANK , CLEANED THE GLASS SEDIMENT BOWL , REBUILT THE CARB, INSTALLED NEW POINTS AND CONDENSOR , ALONG WITH NEW PLUGS AND WIRES AND A NEW BATTERY. SHE STARTED RIGHT UP WITH NO SMOKE , GOOD OIL PRESSURE , AND SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD – EXHAUST HAS A SMALL HOLE AFTER THE MUFFLER THAT NEEDS WELDING TO MAKE IT SOUND EVEN NICER. I WAS ABLE TO GE THE SELECTO SPEED WORKING RIGHT AWAY IN MOST ALL GEARS. (I THINK LINKAGE NEEDS A SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT) BUT TRACTOR IS VERY USEABLE AS-IS – THE CLUTCH AND BRAKES WORK WELL ALSO. HAVE NOT GOT THE HEADLIGHTS TO WORK YET. SHEETMETAL IS VERY STRAIGHT AND ORIGINAL WITH 1 REPAINT – TRACTOR STILL HAS ORIGINAL DECALS. 1960 MACK DIESEL 205HP Tractor 4×4, Vietnam era. Hydraulics 10 speed trans- MUST LOOK. 205 horsepower Mack Diesel! Was told this could be Vietnam, someone that knows about Mack diesels could verify. This tractor is Such a powerhouse! Summer of 2020 it was fully serviced and gone through. NEW BREAK calipers and rotors installed, BRAND NEW external fuel pump two BRAND NEW batteries, BRAND NEW fuel lines. I honestly don’t know much about this tractor except it’s a BEAST and insanely FAST the creeper gear is insane it has reverse and 5 forward gears both in high and low drive. I personally think this tractor is just out right awesome and super cool, heads turn whoever sees it. Definitely a conversational piece of equipment and a workhorse! I had HUGE plans for it, sadly it’s just way too big for what I need. I really need something with a PTO. And with that being said this green monsters got to go. The guy I got it from used it for pulling giant stumps and trees out of a swamp, it has two working quick connect hydraulics setups. Not a hundred percent certain was told it weighs roughly 9,000 lb. I have a Kubota L245 Tractor W/ 4′ Wide Front End Loader, and WOODS RTR48.30 Reverse Rear Tine Tiller for sale. This Tractor is powered by a 25hp Kubota Diesel Engine, and has a Manual Transmission (2 Speeds in Reverse, and 8 Speeds Forward). This Tractor starts VERY Easily, runs GREAT, and all gears and functions work nice and smooth as they should (Lights, Loader, Power Steering, Pto, 3 point etc). It of course is an older machine so it may have a scratch, a ding, or some fading, could use some new rear rims, but still looks pretty darn good considering the age! I just finished repainting the loader (and I did it WELL). I LOVE this machine and I know you will too! I haven’t seen a leak ANYWHERE! So should do GREAT in your garage.
