1955 Allis Chalmers WD45 diesel tractor, serial number 211794 serial number does not have a “D” suffix so the final drive may have been changed at some point. Tractor starts and runs good. Sheet metal is good. Battery box side plate is missing. Has 14.9×28 rear tires. Lights do not work. One manifold bolt is broken. I have the manifold clamp, but did not get around to replacing the bolt. One rear rim has rust around the valve stem. The tractor starts up and runs out. It usually takes a small amount of ether to fire when it’s cold. But the grid heater isn’t hooked up. The transmission shifts through all of the gears as It should. The clutch was just replaced and it works like it should. The brakes will need some work. The tractor has a 3 point hitch which is very uncommon on a d21. It is the series 2 turbo charged model. The motor sounds good and seams to have good power. The fenders are in good shape.
