1966 Gravely Model L Walk Behind Electric Start Option Upgraded Oil System
1966 Gravely Model L-I. Comes with everything pictured and a few small parts not pictured. Runs and operates as is should (see video). Carburetor was rebuilt a few years ago. The electric starter was rebuilt a few years ago also but I never put it back on the tractor because it usually starts after just a few pulls. Comes with a spare set of brushes and 4 chains. Starter clutch / flywheel and brackets are mounted to the tractor already. The starter clutch does slip occasionally. The seals on the mower are leaking and usually needs topped off after a few weeks. Tires are cracking as you can see and the tubes leak down slowly. Other than those few things, this unit is absolutely ready to work. I used it every week for many years with basic maintenance. It’s just been setting collecting dust for the last few years and it’s time to let her go. I would occasionally start and operate it to keep things moving and lubricated, but it hasn’t been worked in a few years and I hate to see it just sitting in the shed.
