1980’s JOHN DEERE 850 TRACTOR. 3 CYLINDER DIESEL 25HP. 3 PT HITCH WITH REAR PTO. LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL PAINT! The only issue is the tires are dry rotted and cracking. Here’s the downside: there’s a transmission issue and it will not engage in forward or reverse, though it can be towed without an issue in neutral. The AC doesn’t work, the covers for the column in the cab have been disassembled (but are available), and the brush guard frame around the fuel tank is bent. The tank itself has a single puncture about a 1/4 which is currently patched with some gorilla tape. Some body rust around the wheels and floor of the cab, as one would expect. No major frame rust. The transmission is not engaging. The battery has died; it’ll start with a solid jump and then run just fine, but the battery will need to be replaced.
