1965 oliver 1550 gas tractor – serial no 165905. Only 5600 original hours on a working tach. This tractor has zero smoke or blowby and idles right down so you can barely tell its alive…. You can count the fan blades as it runs! Started it today to take these pictures and it was -5 degrees, no joke, and it jumped right off on its own!
6 speed forward gears, 2 reverse gears. 3pt hitch w/ top link.

New 6.00 x 16 front tires last year. New parts: clutch kit (clutch disk, pressure plate, pilot and throwout bearing), throw out bearing carrier, brakes and actuators, battery, battery cables and ends, tune up (including points plugs cap rotor and points), muffler, seat, oil change and filter, air filter, manifold gaskets, antifreeze, oliver decals, greased the machine. He used it for brush hogging in the summer and splitting wood in the winter. It has had a very easy life. It has low original hours, and is a good tight tractor.

Even the low oil pressure light still works! He recently bought a log splitter with an engine he could pull with the atv so he didnt need the tractor any longer. This machine starts runs and drives excellent. We brought it in the shop a week ago, to adjust the clutch, and decided it was time for a new one after we inspected it.

Pulled the clutch and did a million other things while we had it sleeping indoors. Tractor is 100% ready to take out and use confidently. It is a super nice tractor, sitting on excellent rubber, and its a very handy size. Would make a great winter tractor or loader tractor because it starts very easily in the winter. Bad spots on this tractor: the amp gauges does not work. The lights also do not work. Originally this tractor had a two speed hydrapower, but that has been eliminated and a straight shaft has been installed. The tractor had a quick paint job at some point a few years back, and it looks better in the pics. We did paint the hood emblems and put on new decals. Its a darn nice tractor otherwise… We have had problems with scammers and do not send second chance offers…. We have a retail location and you can come inspect anytime – or call ahead to see a machine in detail. All items must be paid within 10 days, no exceptions. Once inspected and loaded after it leaves my shop, you own it for good!
