The 955 John Deere compact tractor was one of Deere’s best offerings of all time! These are legendary tractors for performance and durability and have long been out of production. This tractor is a 1998 and has only 606 hours, making it perhaps one of the lowest hour examples of this model left! 33hp Yanmar diesel engine 27 pto hp. Hydrostatic transmission, 4wd, power steering and a Deere loader. Tractor has mid and rear pto’s Everything is original, no touch up. Tractor has turf tires, front are 80% and rears are 60% tread remaining. There is a small fuel leak from an old return hose, a couple of small tears in the original seat, some paint fade, and a small amount of slack in the frontend. Everything works except the lights. Starts, runs and works great! I would suggest an oils and filters service, but even the motor oil isn’t filthy, indicating this machine has been serviced and not neglected. Dealer for 38 years! 1948 Farmall Super A serial number 256614 this tractor stars and runs excellent it is a exceptionally nice original tractor, the sheetmetal is original and in near perfect condition, the grill is near excellent, the paint is original, it has very nice fenders, the PTO works good, the toolbox is still there, it also has th eoriginal shutters on the front with the original lever and rod and they do work that is nearly impossible to find on these tractors, has one set of rear wheel weights, the lights do work, has the original generator and it still charges, the rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 11.2/24 at 90% tread and in good condition, the wide front is good solid and original, there is a little play in the steering not bad the transmission is good and the rearend is quiet no howling or grinding in the gears, the tractor has a right angle PTO to add a belt pulley if wanted, seat frame is good and original, it has a added three point hitch on the rear with a one bottom plow included, the hydrualics do work good, the clutch works good, it does have a rattle but when pushed in it goes away, does not affect the tractor at all, the tractor starts right up and runs excellent no smoke and good oil pressure. Several pieces coming in the next couple months! Tractor starts easy and runs good with no smoke and good oil pressure. Tractor is running in the pictures. We have checked it out and drove it around and everything seems to operate as it should. Standard Category One 3-Point Hitch and 540 RPM PTO. Tractor seems to run very good. It does have the 8-Speed transmission in it (not the 6-speed). Transmission seems good, no funny noises. Power Steering works good. Good tires, front and rear. Brakes are pretty fair. Loader seems to work as it should. It is a hydraulic dump on the bucket, (Not the old fashioned trip lever bucket) Economically priced loader tractors are getting hard to find. Overall seems to be a pretty good older tractor, but keep in mind it is over 40 years old and it is not perfect. If you are not satisfied with it when you get here, you do not have to take it.
