1951 John Deere GW serial number 49858. This is a nice original Colorado tractor. We recently installed a completely rebuilt carburetor. The tractor runs good but it could still use some minor adjusting. The cooling system is full of good coolant with no leaks. The clutch engages and disengages like it should and the transmission shifts through all of the gears like it should. The steering is tight for it’s age. The front end is in good right shape with no breaks or welds. It has one set of rear wheel weights. The tin work is in perfect shape with no dents or dings. This tractor was restored in 2009 by the previous owner. I had pictures of the restoration but they got wet. The engine was completely rebuilt. It has less than 100 hours on it since. I used to take it to a few shows a year but as life goes I just don’t have the time. I can’t stand seeing it sit. It’s a 1936 Model B unstyled General Purpose tractor. The tires are showing some weather cracking. They don’t leak. Besides that everything is in great shape. I have a video of it driving. The only modification is the hitch on the back and the straight pipe. I have the original pipe and it’s in good shape. This is a hand crank tractor. When run often it starts up first pull.
