I bought this machine about a year and a half ago. It has done its job for me so I no longer need it. It dug all of the footings for our 3500 sq. Home, cleared and helped construct a 350 ft. Driveway, dug and graded landscaping features and help dig an inground pool. My thoughts were Use it for a year and sell it or if I cant sell it I will rent it. With that in mind, the price is absolutely FIRM!!!! If I cant sell it, I know I can rent it out. I paid a little over 21K for it. It has 154 hours on it. It runs perfect and everything works like new. It does have some scratches on it please see the pics. One of the plastic covers on the cutting deck became loose and it vibrated and contacted the deck belt which caused it wear a hole through the cover. This is a wonderful workhorse of a machine. The tractor has approximately 2500 hours on the original tach. Upon retirement in the 1980s he moved back to Indiana bringing the tractor with him. This tractor starts and runs excellent, It has had new rear tires about 4 years ago. They are 15.5 x 38. The rims are in excellent condition. It has one set of rear weights. The tractor has the syncro transmission and shifts through all gears and ranges very smooth and effortlessly. The 3pt and pto work correctly The steering is very tight and turns with one finger. The front end tie rods and linkages are very tight. This tractor has no leaks, the 3pt hitch is very tight and the load shaft seals and bushings are in excellent shape and once again no leaks. It has the factory top link included. This tractor would be an excellent one for someone wanting to restore a 2510 as it s a very good unmolested original tractor with excellent sheet metal and all the correct original parts. We bought this earlier this year as a replacement for a Montana tractor. I had the tires foam filled. We have a 85hp John Deere as well and have since decided we really dont need two tractors. This has been used for mowing and aerating as well as moving material around the farm. The unit has been well cared for and everything on the tractor works like new. It is also being offered locally for 43,000. If the unit sales locally I will need to end the listing. This is equipped with Cab, Heat, AC, Loader and 540e (2 speed PTO). The tractor is a nice size for general hobby use. Moving hay bales should not be a problem. The tires are like new as you can see from the photo, and the good news is you will never have to worry about a flat! The extra weight from the foam is substantial and makes the tractor much more stable on slopes and works as a counter weight helping greatly with loads. Its all around a great addition. This tractor has roughly 150 hours on it. We are still using it sparingly so hours wont be exactly as shown. Though the tractor is very close to new, it is NOT new.
