John Deere 650 tractor. It is 4 wheel drive loader and backhoe. Starts and runs good with 1600 hrs motor is clean and does not leak or use oil. Will puff a little smoke at wide open throttle. Loader and backhoe work great one lift cylinder drips a little & hoe has one that drips also. Both seats are not in very good shape. Muffler has crack and has been wired could easily be welded(see pics) one rear wheel has heavy rust (see pics) sheet metal has dings. Tires all hold air but fronts are weather cracked and rear are thin. Bushings on backhoe bucket are loose. Handy little machine with a lot of life left just tried to point out all flaws. They are meticulous with their work. He has done several tractors for me over the years and his work speaks for itself. Tractor has the wide coverage fenders and sit on new Firestones. 11×16 fronts, 24.5 x 32 rears with one set of wheel weights. The TA is good as is the clutch, 2 sets of remotes and small 1000 RPM PTO. The hours are original , just over 6000. The gauges all work, extra oil pressure guage. DSC 0001 – YouTube. Video will open in a new window. This is a really good Ford 7700. It shows only 3293 hours on a working original hour meter. But, I believe they are. Starts great in cold weather. Smooths right out and runs really sweet. Auxiliary hydraulics are strong and responsive. 3-point hitch is strong and responsive. PTO works as designed – turns on and off correctly. Steps on both sides for easy on and off. Lights don’t work. (I haven’t investigated). Paint fair – belly and lift are original – the sheet metal has been touched because original paint was faded. I really like this tractor. I’ve had many of these. The engine and hydraulics seem especially healthy on this one. Like I said above, When You get it and operate it, You are going to like it too.
