For sale – One John Blue G1000 tracor with serial number 260. Mechanically sound, unrestored condition. Tractor starts easily and engine does not smoke or make unusual noise. We installed a new float and a new needle and seat, carburetor still has a flutter at rated speed – carburetor may need an adjustment. Transmission has three forward gears and one reverse plus a high/low range shifter for a total of 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds. Generator charges properly and cooling system works well. Radiator has good clean coolant and does not leak. Hydraulic lift functions properly and linkage is good. Hydraulics are fast and responsive. Hydraulic lift does leak down over time – cylinder may need a rebuild. Rims are in good condition and do not appear to have fluid. Tractor has the optional 9.5-24 rear ag tires. Fuel tank is clean internally. Paint is original and is showing wear and surface rust. Tractor was last used to spray vegetables – front of tractor has been modified with the addition of a platform to carry a small chemical tank. Rear tires have very good tread but are showing some weather checking. Front and rear tires hold air. Rear grille has some damage – sheet metal is otherwise reasonably straight. RH front wheel is missing the bearing dust cap. One headlight works properly, one needs replaced. Seat is an aftermarket replacement.
