1979 International IH 886 Diesel Tractor
1979 IH 886 diesel tractor. Starts runs drives great. 90hp 358 cubic inch German diesel engine. Clutch, brakes, hydraulics, steering, 3pt, pto, park brake all work great. Tractor has heater that works good. The a/c needs a recharge. Tractor has 95% 18.434 Firestone SAT rear tires that are EXCELLENT. Front tires are 9.5Lx15 and roughly 50% and in good shape. All the glass in the cab is good. Blinkers and flashers work. Runs down the road nice. It’s just a really solid, good tractor. It’s ready to go to work, 886 makes a great hay making tractor or yard tractor or chore tractor. Excellent hobby farm horsepower. The German diesel starts easy and sips fuel nicely. Sheet metal and overall appearance is very good. Original paint I believe. Bad spots on this tractor: the steering cylinder under the front axle leaks a little and probably needs a rebuild. The cab interior is nothing special and could use a cab kit, but it’s tight and solid. Everything seems to work, and this should be a great fit for anyone needing a 90hp machine!
