1948 Farmall Cub Gasoline Tractor ie- IH International Tractor gas. For sale is a Clean 1948 Farmall Cub, Serial # 52406, that runs. This tractor has a lot of potential. The rear tires are in fair condition with decent tread, the left has a lot tread. Both tires show weather checking and do hold air. The front tires have a lot of tread in them. The left rear rim has a bad section of rusted on the inside. The right rim has a some rust through around the valve stem area but the rest is good. The current rear tire size on this Cub tractor is 9.5 / 9 – 24. We just use our shop battery to start it so it will be running for load out and we’ll take the shop battery out after it is on the truck. Engine seems real good and solid and does not smoke. After starting the Cub our mechanic said our Cub needs the starter and carb. Linkage connected yet – they are both there with it. He tentatively put a 12 volt coil on there so a 6 volt would be better – after the video we did find a 6 volt coil and that does go with it.. Could use new plugs and wires as the ones on it are old. We did not add any fluid into radiator just ran it a short while so far. Engine seems real solid. We have 3 Implements for sale with this Cub. Set of Cultivators shown on pallet. Looks to be complete. We have a set of Farmall Cub rear wheel wts. In good shape with good paint. Will consider trades or running or non running tractors, or older pre 1960 or pre 1979 tractors, old truck or cars pre-1979 parked inside, atv’s, motorcycles, etc..
