1850 Oliver Tractor Diesel
I don’t know the exact year but i believe it to be a 67-68 year model. Has the 6 speed with underdrive/direct drive for a total of 4 reverse and 12 forward speeds. Waukesha engine Starts immediately with no glowplugs or ether no matter the weather, and runs good and strong. It is running in the pics. As some have correctly pointed out, the 1850 diesels were perkins powered from the factory. The serial number will show that this tractor is an 1850, but it started life as a LP tractor. It has the waukesha front tub and we put the waukesha diesel in it in 1987 which he got from a donor in north carolina, possibly an 1800 or 1750 tractor, and of course changed out the fuel tank and the hood sheet metal. Lift is smooth and quite and unbelievably strong, and has 4 hydraulic outlets with two levers. Tires are “new” rubber meaning without dryrot and don’t leak. Sheet metal is great with the hood being fair due to some minor tornado damage over 20 years ago. Does need a seat. I still keep the maintenance up on it and use it to spray pastures and hayfields, move hay occasionally, run a wood splitter, and pull a pasture drag. I had planned a resto on it but have ran out of shed space and cant hold on to it any longer. Would be happy to try to answer any questions. Serious inquiries only, No international sales.
