155 HP 1989 John Deere 4455 4×4 4WD Diesel Tractor 4055 4255 4555 4755 4955. Here for sale is an excellent condition, low hour 1989 John Deere 4455 Powershift. Only 3,164 hours. It has full Power shift, 540 / 1000 PTO, Triple (3) remote sets. Very Good tires as shown in pictures including front fenders. Him and his son got this tractor ready for sale this winter putting a new cab kit in it. Very nice interior as shown. Recent new batteries too. All gauges, air and heat working A1. It is dry underneath too. Owner is the 3rd owner and has put over 1,000 hours on it. Operates all excellent he confirms including transmission, hydraulics and the 148 HP engine. This tractor started it’s life as one of five 4455’s owned by the State of Michigan prison farm at Jackson, MI. Having 5 tractors they didn’t put any hours on it and not sure why they bought that many but that was Michigan government in the 1989 era. The current owner got it from his estate some years back as he knew he always took great care of his equipment. Note that duals are included and they are matching and just as good as shape as the Goodyear rear tires on the tractor now. The current retiring owner doesn’t exactly remember the tire history on this 4455 but now thinks by looking at them that the tires were new shortly before he bought it 1,000 hours ago. As you can see by the pictures they are at least 65% and some people might call them 90% especially on front they look like they have hardly any use. The current owner has said that he has never driven the tractor on blacktop.
