Here is an amazing survivor! This John Deere 4230 App. Diesel tractor appears to have all original paint except for some spots of decades old rattle can touch up that is mostly on the rims! The motor may never have been taken apart as even the injector line nuts have original paint. It starts and runs as you would expect, but the brakes bleed down when you shut it off, work great when it is running. The cab has heat and A/C it works! Tires are great, but rear tires have some tread cuts. Tires are not fluid filled. Dual remotes, 540 and 1000 PTO shafts are there, as is the original drawbar. The seat looks original and there is some sag in the original headliner. Tractor has 5600 hours and was a long time father/ son ownership. I believe they bought it new but can’t confirm. A tractor you can put right to work with an oils and filters service (No leaks), show as it is for it’s significance and originality, or restore a great candidate.
