Goldoni Star 75 tractor orchard / vineyard tractor with cab! In Vermont
Just in folks, a little on the rare side for this part of the country, a Goldoni orchard / vineyard tractor. Guess it would also be good for produce farm, hemp farmer , tree farmer etc. Due to its narrow 5 foot width but hearty 70hp engine. This one in particular is a Star 75. I believe its early 2000’s model year. (per previous owner a 2004) Powered by a John Deere powertech engine rated around 70hp. A lot of power in a compact package. 2607 hours and yes the meter is working. 4wd, cab with heat and air. Heat works good, got it too late in year to try the ac but looks like components are in place. We just did a basic service – engine oil and filter, hyd, fuel, and air filters. Also one new 3 pt quick link assembly and new rear wiper arm. (both oem form Goldoni dealer) Unit runs well, drives well, stops well. Has 3 remotes, one being used for the hydraulic tip link which is included. Tractor looks like its been well taken care of. Pretty clean for age and service items looked reasonably current. The fiberglass roof looks like it has been repaired on the left front corner at some point but does not seem to leak at all. Rest of tractor is pretty clean. Has a block heater for cold weather use. No glow plugs but it starts good down to 35 or so, below that requires block heater. Tires are Pirrelli brand and are in amazing shape for the year. If only one of our domestic tractor companies would use tires that didn’t look weathered in 4 years. I would guess these are original and show no cracking and tread is in great shape. Pto is a two step process with a lever and cable but it starts and shuts off like it should. Hitch goes up and down. Trans works well (once you figure out how to shift it) There is a gear for just about everything. I researched a little and from what I can tell this trans has 40 gear possibilities. Has a regular trans, then a high low, then a high- low extra low? And when the other is shifted in the right spot the dash shifter becomes a forward reverse shuttle. When in another position, dash lever is another high-low. It actually is a pretty easy shifting trans, but took me longer than I care to admit to figure out how it worked. Anyhow, these are my observations- please come take a look if in doubt as it is for sale here in our yard at Dion Equipment Sales in Vermont. Oh and I even have the owners manual for it. For those not too familiar with this brand they are Italian made and still made to this day. Our closest dealer in in Ma and from what they said just about everything is available still for this. Unit looks pretty sharp. Next quickest form is by bank to bank wire which usually clears same or next day. Any other means, certified or otherwise, check will be held 2-4 weeks, sorry my bank rules not mine!!! The item “Goldoni Star 75 tractor orchard / vineyard tractor with cab!
