1974 SATOH S650G 25 H. GAS BACKHOE LOADER COMPACT TRACTOR WITH POWER STEERING & ADJUSTABLE FORK LIFT ATTACHMENT BACKHOE DIGGING BUCKET IS 16 & LOADER. IS 51″WIDE X 17″ DEPTH. PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE PURCHASING AND MAKE SURE YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND OR FEEL FREE TO ASK ME IF YOU DO NOT! THIS IS A REALLY GREAT TRACTOR AND FINDING THESE COMPACT TRACTORS ARE HARD TO FIND & IF YOUR MECHANICALLY INCLINED YOU WILL HAVE A REAL NICE MACHINE THAT NEEDS VERY LITTLE TINKERING. I REALLY HATE TO EVEN SELL IT, BUT I HAVE WAY TO MANY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS ON MY TO DO LIST RIGHT NOW. THIS TRACTOR ONLY HAD A COUPLE OWNERS, AND IS ONLY AT 200 HRS. HE RELOCATED TO FLORIDA, AND HAD NO NEED FOR IT AS HE BOUGHT A CONDO. HE ALWAYS KEPT IT IN HIS BARN AND THEN HAD TO PARK IT OUTSIDE BECAUSE THEY HAD TO KEEP MANY HOUSEHOLD ITEMS IN THE BARN WHILE THEY WERE HAVING THEIR HOUSE PREPARED TO SELL. HE DID HAVE IT COVERED IT IN A TARP FOR APPROX. 6 MONTHS AND SAID IT ALWAYS RAN GREAT AND NEVER GAVE HIM ANY TROUBLE UNTIL HE CAME BACK TO OHIO AND THEN NOTICED THE IDLE WAS CREEPING UP ON IT. SO, I DID LOOK IT OVER AND COULD TELL THE GOVERNOR LINKAGE WAS STICKING ON IT AND I COULD MANUALLY GET THE IDLE TO LOWER, SO AFTER I BROUGHT IT HOME AND CHECKED INTO IT FURTHER AND CHECKED THE OIL LEVEL IN THE GOVERNOR, I COULD SEE IT HAD WATER/OIL MIX IN IT, SO I FLUSHED IT OUT AND PUT NEW OIL IN IT AND IT WAS STILL STICKING, SO I CALLED BILL AT VALLEY POWER WHO SELLS EVERYTHING FOR THESE AND WAS VERY FAMILIAR WITH THIS ISSUE AS HE SAID NOBODY EVER CHECKS OR SERVICES THE GOVERNOR OIL AND ITS VERY COMMON FOR THEM TO HAVE CONDENSATION IN THEM. HE TOLD ME THAT THE FLY WEIGHTS ARE STICKING IN IT AND THAT IS WHAT CAUSES THE RISING IDLE, SO I ASKED HIM IF I RAN DIESEL FUEL IN IT, IF THEY WOULD FREE UP, AND HE SAID HE WOULD TRY IT AND I MAY GET LUCKY, BUT IT DIDN’T CURE THE PROBLEM. HE IS A VERY NICE OLD SCHOOL GUY AND EVEN TOLD ME HOW TO TAKE IT APART TO CLEAN & POLISH THE SHAFT & SERVICE IT AND HE SELLS THE SEALS & BEARINGS IF IT NEEDS THEM. IT DOES COME WITH THE ORIGINAL REPAIR MANUAL, AND I CURRENTLY BOUGHT MOST OF THE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE THINGS FOR IT, LIKE OIL FILTERS, A DIST. CAP, ROTOR, POINTS, PLUGS, CARB KIT, ETC. I EVEN REPLACED THE SHIFTER BOOT. BUT THE CARBURETOR SHOULD BE FINE AS IT DOES NOT APEAR TO HAVE ANY ISSUES, SO WITH ALL THIS SAID, ALL I WOULD DO TO IT IS SERVICE IT AND CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION & ENGINE OIL & SERVICE / REPAIR THE GOVERNOR AND THE SEAT WILL NEED REPAIRED / WELDED BUT VERY FIXABLE AND WELL WORTH KEEPING IT AS ITS A NICE SETUP. THIS IS A TRACTOR THAT I BET YOU GET MANY YEARS OF GOOD SERVICE OUT OF IT, AND I BET YOU SHOULD HAVE LESS THAN 100.00 IN IT IF YOU CAN DO THE REPAIRS YOURSELF AS I BOUGHT NEARLY ALL OF THE THINGS IT NEEDS BESIDED THE 80/90 GEAR OIL & THE SEALS & POSSIBLE BEARINGS FOR THE GOVERNOR. THESE ARE REALLY QUALITY MADE IN JAPAN TRACTORS & KNOWN FOR BEING VERY DEPENDABLE. THE BACKHOE & LOADER WAS MADE BY NATIONAL IN THE U. A IT ALSO COMES WITH THE FORK LIFT ATTACHMENT & IT EVEN HAS POWER STEERING, WHICH KUBOTA DIDN’T HAVE BACK THEN!! BESIDES THE GOVERNOR ISSUE I DESCRIBED IT RUNS GREAT AND STARTS RIGHT UP. IT’S QUIET AND NO FUNNY NOISES OR SMOKE. THE HYDRAULICS WORK AS THEY SHOULD & ALL OF THE CYLINDERS ARE IN BEAUTIFUL SHAPE AND NOT ALL RUSTY OR PITTED!! ALL THE CONTROLS WORK NICE AND EVEN THE TIRES ALL APPEAR TO BE ORIGINAL WITH SOME TYPICAL DRY ROT CRACKS BUT THEY DON’T LEAK AND I BET YOU WILL GET YEARS OUT OF THEM. AND CHECKS DO SOMETIMES TAKE 10 + DAYS, SO I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT THE TIMELINE PER THE BANK IS AND WILL WASTED NO TIME MAKING THE DEPOSIT ON YOUR BEHALF. IT IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR & MAKE THERE OWN ARRANGEMENTS FOR PICKING THIS UP, BUT I WILL WORK WITH YOU AND HELP IN ANYWAY I CAN IF YOU HIRE A TRANSPORTER.
