1981 John Deere 750 Compact Tractor with 261 John Deere Finish Mower
This late 1981 John Deere 750 compact tractor is powered by a 1.3 liter 20 H. Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel engine. This tractor has 1,152 original hours on it as of this writing. It has a new heavy duty battery and a new float type fuel gauge located in the fuel tank cap. This is a 4 speed manual transmission. All gears have a high and low speed range providing eight forward gear ratios and two reverse gear ratios. The tractor is equipped with 4WD in all gear ranges. The PTO is rated at 18.50 H. This tractor weights 1,900 to 2,000 lbs. And therefore is easy to transport on a small single axle trailer. Tractor runs well and shifts through all the gears with ample power to operate the finish mower and a host of other three point hitch attachments. I have used this tractor to maintain eight to ten acres of land with no problem.
