We thoroughly inspect all of our equipment to ensure all functions operate as they should, all fluids are at the proper levels, and that there are no major mechanical issues. We operate the equipment for 20-30 minutes to ensure the equipment operates properly under a load. Used equipment conditions vary, so we strongly advise communicating directly with you about the item you are interested in. This allows us the opportunity to describe the equipment in detail, answer any questions you have, and ensure you are getting what you expect. This listing is for a very clean John Deere 5400 4×4 utility farm tractor with loader. This tractor has been exceptionally well cared for it’s entire life and always stored inside. It starts and runs just as good as it looks with no smoke or blow-by. The tires are in excellent shape all the way around with 80% tread or better. The clutch and brakes work great and the transmission goes smoothly in all gears with great power. There are no leaks anywhere on the tractor or loader. Everything is 100% original, never been painted. If you are looking for a nice utility tractor this size, this one will not disappoint. The hour meat or reads 2670 and is working. We don’t know what the deal was. The paint isn’t even wore the running boards. The machine shop that did the head said the intakes were not sealing.
