Up for sale is a heavy aircraft tug we have used off and on for the past 20 years. We have a few newer ones and this one sits more than it gets used. I uploaded a video demonstrating it starting, idling, and driving. The tug has a 1960’s era Pymouth industrial slant 6 gasoline 255ci engine and dual wheel rear axle. It has rear hydraulic brakes. The tug is temper mental to start here in recent years. Its reliability to start easy has made us park it and now put it up for sale. Hobbs operational hours unknown. It has had many new parts over the years to keep it going like overhauled carb, gaskets, spark plugs, fuel pump, etc. To make it easier to start I would recommend rebuilding the top end and replace the electronic ignition system. The cylinder compressions ranged from 150 – 122 psi. It has been converted from points to electronic years ago. The converted ignition system and connections are brittle and sometimes need patching. If you like to tinker with it and drive it as is you can also. My guys just rather drive one that starts easy every time. Located in Myrtle Beach sc.
