The tractor starts up and runs out good. The motor is strong and has good power. The transmission shifts through all of the gears and the clutch operates like it should. The hydraulics work and the three point hitch raises and lowers like it should. The cooling system is full of antifreeze with no leaks. The tin work is in very nice original shape. The tractor has never been repainted. It still has the original white fenders that don’t have any rust damage. The injector pump has a small diesel leak on it so it will need a new O ring to stop the leak. Other then that the tractor is in good operating shape. It would make a great work tractor around the farm. Or it would go good in your collection since these 1206s are the heart of the muscle tractors and very sought after. This Farmall M has been in my family since my great grandfather. I saw it used as a boy, and in 2003 I had it brought to a professional mechanic who sandblasted it and restored the paint & body. In 2008 the pistons were replaced and restored. I drove it a handful of times at my farm only for mowing. Now it has sat inside my garage only to be driven around the neighborhood once a year. Most small parts were replaced or bought new, there is a hydraulic PTO in the rear. The lights are not currently wired for working condition. I had both a generator and magneto mounted. 1957 John Deere 720 Standard Diesel Tractor serial number 7205088, this tractor starts runs and drives very good, it has a pony engine that runs good smaokes a little but the big engine fires up instantly and runs excellent no smoke and very good oil pressure, the tractor has power steering that works very good, you can steer it with one finger, the clutch, brakes, PTO, Hydraulics and transmission all work very good, has a float ride seat, the front rims are JD 1276R, the rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 18.4/30 at 505 tread older with a few cracks but will lst for many years, the shetmetal is verynice and solid you can find a few dings but it is nice, the rear fenders are good and solid, has a tach. But it is not working it reads 3388 hours, has a good brawbar hitch, the paint is very nice not a show tractor but nice it will turn a lot of heads, this tractor can be put right to work or added to your collection, starts runs and drives very nice. 1955 John Deere 70 Diesel Standard, serial number 7019723, this tractor is loaded with options, it has the VERY RARE adjustable standard wide front, a rear rockshaft which was rare on the standard tractors, and good working factory power steering, you can steer this tractor with one finger, it has been converted to electric start which works very good, just pull decompression lever hit the button and it fires right up, the motor runs great good high oil pressure, the rear rims are very good and solid a little rust starting by valve stem but will last for years, the rear tires are 18.4/30 Firestones at 95% tread and in excellent condition, one front tires is new the other very good, has lights the tach does not work, the brakes, clutch transmission and PTO all work very good, it has hydraulics, the metal is very solid with a few dings, the fenders are solid one of them has a little rust by the bracket but solid and very restorable, this is a nice tractor not a show tractor but nice, this is a very ncie tractor left as is or it wouldnt take much to get it to show quality, engie starts instantly and runs great with good working power steering.
