1968 farmall 856 tractor serial number 11273 s-y. This tractor starts, runs and drives very good, it has less than 500 hours on a major engine overhaul, the clutch is new, it also has a new high capacity torque, the clutch and torque have less than one hour of run time on them, also has 2 new batteries, the engine is 95 hp, the power steering works good, brakes are good, comes with dual pto 540 and 1000, as well as dual hydraulics that do work well, the lights all work, has one set of split rear wheel weights, one of the rear rims has a little rust by valve stem it is small and will last for many years the other rims is good and solid, the rear tires are 18.4/38 one at 80% and in good condition the other is at 30% and older, has a factory wide front that is in very good condition, the front end has all been gone thru it is tight and does not wobble, the cab is in good condition, the liner is gone, but all windows are good except for the rear which is cracked, the doors are both there and do latch. This tractor is a rare find it is mechanically in excellent condition, the sheetmetal is in excellent condition, you might find a few dings but it is near perfect, the paint is original it looks as if it has never been painted, the tractor has 7506 hours on a working tach. This is a rare find, the mechanical work has been done, put this tractor to work or add it to your collection, hard to find in this condition.

1952 farmall cub, serial number 15229, this tractor has been sitting for a year, it is running in the photos, the motor is good with good oil pressure, it could use a tune up, as it has a bit of a miss, i have had this tractor for a couple of years, it ran very good when parked a year ago, just needs a tune up, the sheetmetal is good and solid, and not busted under the front caste by radiator, the transmission is good, brakes work good, has a good working pto, the hydraulics work good, also comes with a original sickle bar mower, it is missing the belt but it moves and should work good once belt is put on, the rims are good, tires are older and about 40% tread but have never leaked air, has three lights on it and they all work, the charging sytem does work, this would be a great little restoration project, the metal is solid and original.

This tractor has the even more rare magneto ignition which is twice as powerful and reliable than the coil and points units are. It starts at the flick of the switch and purrs right up to running rpm with the vigor of a new machine.

It still has the complete six volt system and working generator. I have however replaced the battery with a 12 volt for faster and easier starting in the winter. I simply disconnected the six volt charging system which is easily put back on when the original six volt battery is re-installed. The original international farmall equipment included with the sale of this unique original are. Six foot dirt/snow front plow that is operated with tractor hydraulics.

It was one of twenty plus tractors on his farm and was always kept in the barn. As you can see in the pictures, this is. It is a pristine example of a rarely found tractor that has been pampered it’s entire life. All of the original lights, housings, control arms, etc are still where they were installed at the factory and have never been removed or rebuilt. This tractor has the even more rare magneto ignition which is twice as powerful and reliable than the coil and points units are.

It starts at the flick of the switch and purrs right up to running rpm with the vigor of a new machine. It maintains a healthy oil pressure as shwon in the picture with the tractor running. I have used this machine to cut the fields of my 23 acre farm. I have ran a bailer all day or a six foot bush all day as well with absolutely no issues.

When i started smelled like some old gas. Ran new gas through it and ran fine.

Left rear leaks air after about a week goes down. I’ve always been a fan of these old farmalls. No leaks that i can see except a little at carburetor. Serial number 183437 then has a stamp x1 not sure what that part means but tractor data says its a 1949. I ran out of storage space so i must sell.

This unit has been used very little and is in good working condition. Starts easily and runs good, even with the temperature at 22 degrees.

Some of the items have the original paint on them as they have been used very little. The hydraulics are in very good working condition, the power take off works very good. I don’t believe you will find a better running mccormick farmall cub tractor in the world than this unit. Check out the video on youtube of this tractor running.
