1948 super A International farmall cub tractor. Make sure to be aware of my precise location. I alter my location just a little bit for privacy. More info in item description below. Especially about my precise location. It is next to the feedback information. Everything must work and not be damaged in any way. Option: things I may knock off a few hundred bucks for(but not fully trade for). Honda suitcase generator set with parallel cable hookup. Large snap-on grade tool box. Heavy duty grade bush hog brand bush hog mower. To fit a 3600 or larger tractor. Good gearbox with no leak (no grease in box-must be proper gear lube)and no rust in deck. Option: things I may be needing. A rust free, flaw free Toyota Prius. No head gasket issue. Travel trailer/rv that has NEVER had leaks and mold. A two axle cargo trailer that has standing head room. Dump trailer with single center hoist design. This is considered to be a hydraulic lift tractor for that era. Or so Im told. Please do your own research at the year model, specs, and information. Has the center lift AND the rear lift. Has the center implement on it. My dad passed last year. This was our potential future project tractor. We were going to paint it and restore it. He tinkered with it and we just never had time to paint it and mess with it. I think my dad cranked it but, I wasnt around to hear it run. It does appear to have some upgrading done to the charging system. Looks as if my dad put a regulator on the generator/alternator. Has some attachments and mounts on it. My dad bought new tires for it. They are just under inflated from sitting in shed as seen in pics. I recently rolled it out of shed and out under back deck of house. I did allow the tow chain or possibly backhoe bucket to nick/scrape ONE lug on back right tire. Not an issue at all. Just being specific and detailed. I cannot guarantee anything about this tractor. You will probably need to paint it and do some fine tuning(because its been sitting) from what I can guess. Worst case scenario would be: Rering and re gasket engine just to check it all out. Clean and rebuild carb. Check out and adjust or redo the valves. Clean out fuel tanks freshen everything up. Engine has been turned over recently. I have no guarantee of compression or condition of rings. Consider the possibility of it needing an overhaul just for peace of mind. But, it DOES sound and feel like it has excellent compression. I DO have the engine HAND CRANK. The good thing is that antique tractors go up in value. Parts are easily available. I would fix this up but I have 300 other old projects. These tractors are a good investment. They will only go up in value. These tractors seem to be seen in displays for throw back stores and restaurants out front. Shiny red vintage tractor display as seen at Cracker Barrel type old country stores and etc.. Also good for parades. Many people still use these to farm. Carb work or something simple. I just cant say. Hood looks out of line because its not bolted down tightly. But its not bent up. >>>Bowl of metal seat is rusty in places but still useable. Just replace with a new one if you want it showroom condition. Metal seats are cheap. 1 mild fixable ding in grills. You can wait up to a month before coming to pick it up. Just please dont wait forever to come get it. A reasonable amount of time is ok…. I need to clean out shed for shed repair this month. Use the PP method. Spe-lled back-wards that is lapyap. Important The actual location zip code is three oh five won too. Town starts with a letter B. Northeast georgia corner, in mountains, on border of NC, TN, GA, and close to SC. 2 hours central to atlanta, Chattanooga, asheville, Greenville, and Knoxville. Only a few items. 2 hours or less central to atlanta, Asheville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Greenville. Near the casino in murphy North Carolina and the ocoee river. Near Helen Georgia(the Swiss Bavarian tourist town). The exact location is zip code 3-0512. My 3m&il is my username here at gee mayal d0tc0m. Prefer black, charcoal, white, or possibly grey(I kinda dont like grey and certainly dont like how grey fades and peels). Im researching Prius cars and I dont want the models that have hidden issues. The trade would be to your benefit as a Prius is a cheap economy car that depreciates and my vintage combo will never decrease in value. If you have a super duper newish Prius… You are also welcome to ask for a video of both items. If you plan to come within 2 days and you write me in advance offering cash and I agree…. That may be different. It is free to sign up (using your e, m, a, i, l a, d, d, r, e, s, s,). The site holds the. Go on the site and get a quote. You can wait up till 1 month or possibly a little longer to get the truck and tractor. But you are not sure when you can come get it….. Sometimes I have a piece of heavy equipment located where this tractor is. I may be able to push up on your trailer! Axle to axle length is: 6 foot. Total length of tractor where front tires protrude to the little attachment overhang piece on rear is. 9 feet 6 inches. Width of tractor is roughly: 4 foot 6 inches. I had almost 90 watchers before he messed this up!! 1948 international McCormick Farmall Cub tractor Super A With International B160 Truck! The tractor is technically called super A. Do you have vision? Can you visualize this package as a vintage international truck with an international tractor on the bed of it at car shows, parades, promotions? An international farmall Super A tractor dealer would ideally use an international truck if possible back in the day right????? Old country store display. Winery prop under a shed. All kinds of scenarios. Leave the truck and tractor original finish with imperfections in Patina finish and only worry about restoring mechanically. Truck has no bed but used to have a stake bed with lift gate. The bed would look best made out of oak lumber….. The idea is to use the (international) truck to haul the (international) tractor on the back of it. Have the door of truck painted to be your local international tractor dealer back in the 1940s and 1950s. First, the info on the truck. Cab and chassis truck. Good candidate for new oak flatbed / stakebed. Body has no Big time major dents or damage. Im saying it looks like its never been wrecked. Has a few minor dings and easily fixable dents as expected for age that can be easily hammered out. May have a little common rust in floor board or a possible place in lower door jam. I havent really looked in depth to find rust in floor board to confirm but I spotted a daylight small spot when glancing into cab of truck on passenger side. Just expect to have some common floorboard rust somewhere. I doubt this is an issue to someone who fixes up old trucks. A wire welder and some sheetmetal work in a simple flat hidden area. May have some odd spots of rust in unnoticeable places around cab. May have dings, scrapes, dents, in areas as expected for a truck of this age. The driver side seems to have a scrape like a tree limb went across fender front to back. Nothing stands out that appears to be unfixable. All of the sudden the door latch springs have gotten rusty and both door latchs have become stuck. I hear there is a trick to releasing them…. The doors were opening and then one day I go to open the door and the thumb button sticks…… Old timers probably know how to release the latch. Worse case scenario is to bust the flat back glass to enter cab to remove inside door panels. Then have a piece of flat glass cut to replace back glass. Im gonna leave it like it is. This is stated up front. Needs steps below doors replaced to be restored to perfection. Can even be made from angle iron and sheet metal. For the age and being original. Good platform for a parade truck or hay ride truck. >>>Front tires are terrible. Truck needs washed as it has sap and moss on it from being under trees. Truck is a good candidate for the current popular conversion choice of a cummins inline 6 diesel enginefrom a dodge truck etc… Looks very tidy and solid around engine and under hood. Dont know engine condition. Looks to be simple in design for whatever repairs needed. Truck does not run and I do not know internal engine condition. >>>I have never tried to turn the engine over. From a google search: The B-160 series replaced the A-160 series. The styling was revised around the front end with a new mesh grill and stacked dual headlights. The standard engine was the 154-hp BD-264 6-cylinder. This engine is worth as much as what Im asking for the whole tuck. This engine is also found in many international tractors and road graders. Tough engine(from what Ive been told). Again: Truck it is not running and I dont know if it ran when parked. My dad and I bartered (trader) lots of our work(earthmoving) for old cars and tractors. My father passed away in 2018. I cant ask him the back story on this truck. And he agreed to trade it for this truck. I helped unload it. The tag shows it was last tagged in 1984 in northeast georgia. 1948 super A International farmall cub tractor. Engine has been turned over recently. You can wait up till 1 month or possibly a little longer to get the truck and tractor. But you are not sure when you can come get it….. I recommend a long gooseneck trailer of getting them both at one time. A hot shot shipper would be best. Sometimes I have a large excavator at my shop and it may be possible to lift the tractor up and stack it over the back frame of truck to make it fit on your trailer. Front tires are roughly 6 foot wide apart on outside but I cant tell exactly as time front tire is chewed off and rotten from rolling it with my tractor. I would say its 6 foot and 3 inches worst case scenario. Front fender to fender is roughly 7 foot wide at MOST. That is widest spot of cab. Center of front axle to rear axle is: 14 foot plus 6 inches. Complete length of truck from front bumper to rear end edge of frame rail is. 21 foot plus 8 inches. Height to top of cab. 6 foot plus 7 inches. Length of frame (where bed goes) measuring from. 13 foot 3 inches from back edge of cab to end edge of frame rail. Axle to axle length is: 6 foot. Late model Farmall 1206 SN 14894. This tractor was ordered from the factory without a Torque Amplifier – just has a straight shaft, which was rare on the 1206’s. This was International’s first row crop tractor to have a turbo and over 100 hp. It has dual hyd remotes, dual PTO, 3 point hitch. Rear tires are 18.4×38. Comes with 2 sets of wheel weights. It needs a sniff of either when you first start it cold. Runs ok but has a miss and smokes at idle. The 3 point lifts good but the hydraulics have a hard time lifting up the disc mower arm. Park brake lever is missing a short linkage rod. Works in all gears, no weird noises. Gearshift is a little sloppy like most 06 series tractors are. Good clutch and brakes. Power steering is strong – turns nice and easy. I used this tractor to mow 10 acres of pasture grass, worked good except it was slow to lift the mower arm. Disc mower attachment not included! Located at my farm in Schleswig Iowa 51461. I have a dock and can help load. I can store it for 60 days as long as we stay in touch and it’s paid for. I take cash, good check or wire transfer.
