I have for sale this new-in-the-original-box Prestolite generator for an unknown military application. Never installed and unused. As good as they get. Manufacture date tag of August 1972. Much better build quality than modern equipment. Windings are heavy gauge co0pper with thick insulation.. Thicker steel for the case, superior ball bearings, heavier brushes and overall better construction. This unit has sat on a shelf for many years and it still looks new. The paint is good and there are no significant gouges or scars. No surprises when it arrives; the way it looks in the photos is what it will look like when you open the box. Bench tested and in working order. If you skin it all up trying to install it, it’s your baby. Same day if ordered overnight or before 8 A. If the original box will fit inside the Flat Rate box after being broken down, I will send it.
