1938 john deere unstyled l tractor serial number 621931, this tractor has a good original serial number tag, the motor has been completely overhauled, it runs excellent, starts good, has good oil pressure and does not smoke, the front tires are brand new, the rear tires are 7.50/22 and are brand new, front and rear rims are correct and in good condition, there are no welds or breaks on this tractor, the clutch, transmission and brakes work very good, the radiator is good, has a drawbar hitch, the sheetmetal is good and solid, and in very good condition, as you can see in the photos the radiator has a few dings on top not bad and still looks very good but i thought it should be mentioned, radiator is good and does not leak, the paint is excellent, there is a little pitting but still looks very nice, this tractor is ready for the shows or parades.The item “1938 John Deere Unstyled L Antique Tractor NO RESERVE Vintage Motor Overhauled” is in sale since Monday, January 26, 2015. This tractor starts, runs and drives very good, it has less than 500 hours on a major engine overhaul, the clutch is new, it also has a new high capacity torque, the clutch and torque have less than one hour of run time on them, also has 2 new batteries, the engine is 95 hp, the power steering works good, brakes are good, comes with dual pto 540 and 1000, as well as dual hydraulics that do work well, the lights all work, has one set of split rear wheel weights, one of the rear rims has a little rust by valve stem it is small and will last for many years the other rims is good and solid, the rear tires are 18.4/38 one at 80% and in good condition the other is at 30% and older, has a factory wide front that is in very good condition, the front end has all been gone thru it is tight and does not wobble, the cab is in good condition, the liner is gone, but all windows are good except for the rear which is cracked, the doors are both there and do latch. This tractor is a rare find it is mechanically in excellent condition, the sheetmetal is in excellent condition, you might find a few dings but it is near perfect, the paint is original it looks as if it has never been painted, the tractor has 7506 hours on a working tach. This is a rare find, the mechanical work has been done, put this tractor to work or add it to your collection, hard to find in this condition.
