1959 John Deere 530 serial number 5305577, this tractor runs very good it always starts, has all three lights the front lights work the rear light does not but it does have the red light in it, has good John Deere front rims, with good working power steering, the wide front is aftermarket Schwartz or Nordeen but is in very good condition, has an original working three point hitch, Float ride seat, the PTO work sgood and does not turn when it is turned off, good drawbar, the generator has been rebuilt and the charging system does work, rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 13.9/36 at 70% older tires but in good condition, has spark plug covers and a cylinder hanger, the hydraulics do work, the tach. This tractor is ready to go to work or it would be a good one to restore it runs good, good working power steering and good sheetmetal. 1956 John Deere 420S antique tractor serial number 86842, this tractor starts runs and drives excellent, it has been used the last three years to mow three acres with a finish mower, the motor was overhauled three years ago and probably only has a couple of hundred hours on it, the three point and PTO work good, also has a complete drawbar hitch, the hood and grill have been redone with a professional paint job and look very good at that time it new grill screens put in, it has been converted to 12 volt, has both battery doors, the rear rubber is 12.4/24 at 60% tread older tires with a few cracks, has a 4 speed transmission that work sgood, the clutch is good, the brakes were put in new but they were put in worng or backwards and do not work if you, but are new and only need to be put in correctly, this tractor does run and drive very good but it does have a weld on the front axle which doesnt effect it, steering is good, also has a weld on rear axle, and there is a weld or JB weld by the rearend where under the seat you should be able to see it in photos. This is a very nice tractor runs and drives very good, the hood and grill are very nice and have been redone, you can take this tractor and go right to work, or you could take ity and finish and make it a show tractor. This is a real good flat platform 55 PTO horse power tractor. It has the 8 speed syncro range transmission with both 540 and 1000 pto shafts plus the front 1000 pto shaft. The paint is real good with straight sheet metal. One fender had a factory mounted radio base which I removed. The fenders appear to have had some work done where they connect to the mounting bases. The work is sound but they didn’t try to hide it. I used this tractor with a 3 pt estate mower, to auger grain and to train the grand kids. I no longer need it since we now use larger tractors. The tractor starts right up, sounds and runs great, shifts fine, steers very easy, and the 3point and one remote function ok with good brakes.
