1998 model John Deere 4300 with 2220 hours, it’s 4×4 and loader ready with joystick control, has good R-4 (industrial) tires. It has 12 forward and reverse speeds, with. All the panels are in good shape, the seat is new. It comes with the grille guard already installed. It could use a new grille, the one on it works, just does not look real nice. All lights work, and the tack works. I have tried to be upfront about any issues I see, please come check it out if possible. No leaks anywhere and starts right up in cold weather. He had not used it in 2 years so i went through the carb and the tank was empty so it looked good. I switched ti to 12 volt and i put the pertronic electronic ignition on it and it fires up and runs great. The tranny brakes and all other parts of the tractor work as they should. The issues that will need to be addressed in time are it has a very slow seep out of the power steering hydraulic ram, the tach does not work, and the rear rims are rusty but still usable. The lh is the worse. I put a canopy on it and roll over bar for safety. Also i pulled the original seat (it goes with the tractor) and put a nice comfortable bucket seat on it with seat belts. The tires are all in great shape, we replaced both rears and one front last year, the other front tire is in good shape, just a different brand. Clutch, breaks, lights, dash are all working properly. The only minor issue on the tractor is some sun fading and scratches (typical on all Kubota’s) and recently the PTO began free spinning when its disengaged. We havent addressed it, since we are typically running the PTO. Im sure it would be a simple fix at your local dealership, it probably needs to be adjusted.
