IH Farmall 806 Diesel Tractor. Starts runs drives good. Unknown hours tach is inop. Machine has brand new 18.4×34 rear tires and new rear rims. Has new front 11Lx15 tires also. Tires are a few years old but have virtually no run time on them. Tractor has upgraded 56 style shifting that works well. Rear fast hitch (can be converted to 3pt). Been using it around the shop its a good working tractor. The front axle had been repaired numerous times, it’s in good working order but has many welds on it. One hydraulic remote lever is sticky and needs to be freed up from not being used. Tractor likes a whiff of ether to get it started cold, starts easy warm. Can is solid but ugly and missing part of the door. It does have heat and it works. Just a good old farm tractor. We can store 90 days. Must be paid in full. Google us and call for more info. Option: things I may knock off a few hundred bucks for(but not fully trade for). Honda suitcase generator set with parallel cable hookup. Large snap-on grade tool box. Heavy duty grade bush hog brand bush hog mower. To fit a 3600 or larger tractor. Good gearbox with no leak (no grease in box-must be proper gear lube)and no rust in deck. Option: things I may be needing. A rust free, flaw free Toyota Prius. No head gasket issue. Travel trailer/rv that has NEVER had leaks and mold. A two axle cargo trailer that has standing head room. Dump trailer with single center hoist design. This is considered to be a hydraulic lift tractor for that era. Or so Im told. Please do your own research at the year model, specs, and information. Has the center lift AND the rear lift. Has the center implement on it. My dad passed last year. This was our potential future project tractor. We were going to paint it and restore it. He tinkered with it and we just never had time to paint it and mess with it. I think my dad cranked it but, I wasnt around to hear it run. It does appear to have some upgrading done to the charging system. Looks as if my dad put a regulator on the generator/alternator. Has some attachments and mounts on it. My dad bought new tires for it. They are just under inflated from sitting in shed as seen in pics. I recently rolled it out of shed and out under back deck of house. I did allow the tow chain or possibly backhoe bucket to nick/scrape ONE lug on back right tire. Not an issue at all. Just being specific and detailed. I cannot guarantee anything about this tractor. You will probably need to paint it and do some fine tuning(because its been sitting) from what I can guess. Worst case scenario would be: Rering and re gasket engine just to check it all out. Clean and rebuild carb. Check out and adjust or redo the valves. Clean out fuel tanks freshen everything up. Engine has been turned over recently. I have no guarantee of compression or condition of rings. Consider the possibility of it needing an overhaul just for peace of mind. But, it DOES sound and feel like it has excellent compression. I DO have the engine HAND CRANK. The good thing is that antique tractors go up in value. Parts are easily available. I would fix this up but I have 300 other old projects. These tractors are a good investment. They will only go up in value. These tractors seem to be seen in displays for throw back stores and restaurants out front. Shiny red vintage tractor display as seen at Cracker Barrel type old country stores and etc.. Also good for parades. Many people still use these to farm. Carb work or something simple. I just cant say. Hood looks out of line because its not bolted down tightly. But its not bent up. >>>Bowl of metal seat is rusty in places but still useable. Just replace with a new one if you want it showroom condition. Metal seats are cheap. 1 mild fixable ding in grills. You can wait up to a month before coming to pick it up. Just please dont wait forever to come get it. A reasonable amount of time is ok…. I need to clean out shed for shed repair this month. Use the PP method. Spe-lled back-wards that is lapyap. Thanks for your friendly help and the great tractor. Thought I would give you an update on the Bobcat. It arrived yesterday afternoon. Luckily the weather had improved and the temps were in the 20’s instead of below zero. The trucker was a great guy we had a lot of time together to get acquainted! His initial drop in this area was in Sidney, MT – about 4 hours NW of here. He was there yesterday morning and could not get the other skid steer he was delivering started after a couple hours trying – they finally had to get a crane to off-load it. Anyway, he arrived at my place (I met him outside of town) at about 2 o’clock in the afternoon so we could unload at my ranch instead of in town. He immediately got stuck in the snow, but we were able to off-load the Bobcat (it started right up with no problems). Then it was time to “un-stuck” his rig. Only with the assist of the Bobcat pulling were we able to get him out of the snow filled ditch! I thought we were finished when he became stuck in the snow again during the process of turning around. This time the Bobcat was of no use since he became completely buried up to the axles. We had some time to contemplate our next options which looked grim – so I called my neighbor about two miles away who has a John Deere150hp 4 wheel drive tractor (my tractor is too small would not have been strong enough). It took him about 45 minutes to arrive and the buried rig was immediately yanked out of the snow. So, the trucker (Blaine – from Texas) was finally back on the road after a 3 1/2 hour stop at my place. We sent him on his way with a gift of a pair of gloves and a fur hat neither of which he had with him in case he needed to be out in the cold again!! We had a lot of laughs and we invited him to come back for a visit in the summer – he said if he never saw Montana or North Dakota again – it would be just fine with him! We started moving snow immediately after his departure for a few hours until it was time to call it a day. The Bobcat runs great, just as you said and we are completely satisfied with all aspects of it’s operation. Even if it was in the dead of winter! We made it back to Kentucky with only a blow out on a tire. Thanks for all your help and great kindness.
