The tractor starts up and runs good. It usually starts by a couple cranks of the flywheel. It runs good and smooth and doesn’t make any unusual sounds. It doesn’t smoke or burn any oil. It has good compression and lots of power. The cooling system is full of good clean coolant and doesn’t leak. The clutch operates like it should and the transmission shifts into all of the gears good. The brakes work good and the steering is smooth and doesn’t seam to have much slop. The tractor has a set of factory fenders in great shape with no rust. The rest of the tin work is in good shape as well. It is an older restoration but is still a very respectable looking tractor. The rims are all in good shape and the rear tires have matched tread with lots of life left. This would go great in any collection or you could use it around the farm. 1938 John Deere Unstyled L serial number 621711 this tractor is in excellent condition, it starts in one or two cranks runs and drives excellent the front end is good with no wobble, the steering is good, the clutch brakes and transmission are good, the serial number tag is original and in very good condition, the radiator is excellent hood and all wheetmetal is in very good conditon, the rims are good and solid, has the original drawbar hitch engine has correct NXA Block with a rebuilt Magneto and the correct TCX #12 carburetor, has a very good belt pulley, still has the originial drawbar, the oil pressure is good and it does not smoke, the rear tires are 7.50/22 at 90% older tires but very good, the fenders are very nice and solid, the tractor runs and drives very nice, it always starts in a crank or two, it has all the original and correct parts very hard to find like this. Paint is very nice not a new car paint finish but very nice, it is ready for the parades or shows hard to find like this. 1938 John Deere unstyled b serial number 51278. This tractor has been professionally restored and completely redone it is better than new, the paint is as nice as you will find and it is like a new car finish, has vinyl cut decals, the rear tires are 9.5/36 Firestones and new, the front rtires are new as well, the tractor has FACTORY FLAT SPOKE rear rims in excellent condition, Factory front ROUND SPOKES HC 176 and in excellent condition, the clutch pad is new it has new guages that do work, the shutter is complete and works, three way fuel valve taken off cleaned to like new and put back on, the clutch, transmission and brakes work very good, the PTO works, has a good drawbar, the transmission is good and quiet, steering is tight no wobble at all, sheetmetal is excellent, the carburetor is the correct DLTX #10 with a WICO magneto, engine runs excellent no smoke always starts and runs excellent. 1938 John Deere Unstyled L serial number 622690, this tractor starts and runs very good it does not smoke and has very good oil pressure, it has the original hand crank and it usually fires up in two to three turns, it has a good and correct NXA block and the correct TCX 12 carburetor, the sheetmetal is all in very good condition, radiator is good the top is not dented and it has the front screen, also has a rare and original belt pulley, has a original drawbar hitch, the brakes are good it still has the brake locks, the clutch and transmission both work good, has the correct front and rear rims, the rear tires are 7.50/22 at 80% tread older tires but in good condition, front tires are very good, this tractor has a older restoration but still looks very good, the tractor runs and drives excellent with the correct block and carb. 1936 John Deere Unstyled B Tractor serial number 21148, this tractor runs good it does not smoke and has good oil pressure, has a set of fenders, spark plug louvers and a radiator shutter there is no cloth shutter but the screen and rod are there, the brake covers are not broken or cracked, the sheetmetal is solid with a few dings, it has a older repaint that looks nice, the rear rims are flat spoke cutoffs the rear tires are 12.4/38 Good years and are 100% tread and in very good condition like new, has the correct #10 carb. The clutch, brakes and transmission all work good, PTO works, tractor does start good, I have pulled it a few times but usually it will start by hand, this is a good running tractor it is not a show tractor but a nice tractor, SELLS NO RESERVE.
