New Holland TN-55 Tractor Loader. Looking for an nicely equipped tractor that is in solid, work ready condition? Well, here it is! This New Holland tractor has been given the royal treatment by us! We bought this tractor to use on some acres we have. The tractor performed exceptionally well and NEVER gave us a single issue! Since the tractor reached its 1000 hour maintenance point, we completely serviced this tractor with top-of-the-line parts! Furthermore, we installed a new and improved design clutch on it! Brand new, not rebuilt! Since we planned to keep this tractor for our use, we spared no expense in preventative maintenance and repairs. Anything that looked suspect, or could give trouble down the line, was replaced (the original clutch design was prone to breaking springs on it, so we got rid of that clutch). Since the original paint was a bit sun faded, we replaced that too! Afterwards, in a funny turn of events, we ended up with a larger tractor. Otherwise, we would still have it on our fleet! DSC 0003 – YouTube. Video will open in a new window. Here is a really nice International 464 gas tractor. This is my opinion of this tractor. But, it is what I honestly believe from my inspection and operation of this tractor. What appears to be the original tachometer reads only 834.6 hours and it is working and counting. I believe these are likely actual. I believe this tractor has the 4 original tires that were on it when it was new. I believe the seat is original. I don’t know of any mechanical problems with this tractor. Original toplink (third arm). Starts easy and runs smooth. Gauges work – gas gauge may not be accurate. Power steering works well. Lights work (except right side blinker). Strong 3 point lift – pictured with a 6′ bush hog. Shift linkage is tight. Looks like all original control station decals are there. Front tires worn pretty slick. Rear tires are pretty nice. There are some splits in the side wall of at least one of them. I don’t think this will hurt anything. Doesn’t jump out of gear. Clutch engages and disengages well and doesn’t slip. Power steering works pretty well. But, should be fine for a good while. Fuel drips from underside of injector pump. 3 point won’t lift a heavy load at low engine rpm. Coolant drip from water pump. But, hours do not change. Not sure if the other gauges work. Assume they do not. But, You get the picture. It doesn’t knock. Starts from the seat. (You have to use glow plug button). Gears and clutch are good. Doesn’t smoke excessively.
