1970 john deere 4020 diesel side console. Tractor is fresh out of the field, mostly used for hay the last few years, it has not been washed and is in her work clothes. Synchro shift, drives great in all gears. Diesel engine starts great, runs great, no excessive smoke, has block heater. Dual pto, single hydraulics, 3 point with top link. Hour meter shows 5600 hours but is currently not working, tach still works. Clutch is good, both brakes work good. Underside is very clean and dry, not a leaking mess like some. 18.4 x 34 rear tires with plenty of tread left. Tractor is missing side console cover and rear cover in photos but i do have them and they will be included in the sale. I’m flexible to meet with trucking company and can get it loaded on a flatbed if it doesn’t have ramps. Feel free to make me an offer to end it early if you would like. I’ve had a few questions come in. It is factory electric start, the tractor runs excellent, the motor was overhauled 354 hours ago, the tach. Was replaced at the time or overhaul, the tractor runs excellent good high oil pressure, lots of power, it was used this fall to plow 40 acres of bean stubble, the clutch has been rebuilt, and has a new water pump, batteriesd are new, the rear rims are good and the rear tires are 15.5/38 at 90% tread and in very good condition, float ride seat, it has very good working power steering you can steer it with one finger, all the guages do work, all the lights do work even the rear red light, hydraulics work good, has the original two cylinder flat top deluxe fenders, a complete working three point hitch with return spring, sway blocks and a original top link, pto works good and has a pto shield, has a very good original square axle adjustable wide front, has a outside air stack, and the very rare and sought after three piece front wieght set, along with a set of rear wheel weights. The sheetmetal is excellent, the paint is very nice, this tractor is ready tog o to work, take to parades or show it.
