1969 john deere 4520 v8 cummins repower with 300 horsepower. One got the kinze kit with the detroit and this one received the cummins repower. Tractor has side console, synchro-range transmission, diff lock, 3 point, pto, and dual hydraulics. Original working tach only shows 3,600 hours on tractor. New engine has run less than five hours since installation. Here is a list of everything that has been replaced on the tractor. Nos 1969 300 cummins v8 engine $7,200. Brand new cummins cylinder heads $1,500. Larger custom radiator/recore/rebuild $300. Labor to spilt tractor, remove old engine, install new one and replace cylinder heads, set the overhead/adjust valves etc $10,000. New deere hd clutch, flywheel resurface and assembly $1,550. 2 yrs ago converted to 12 volt new wiring harness all lights works new gauges except for the original tach that shows 1690 hrs. Everything works like it should.
