1969 john deere 4520 v8 cummins repower with 300 horsepower. One got the kinze kit with the detroit and this one received the cummins repower. Tractor has side console, synchro-range transmission, diff lock, 3 point, pto, and dual hydraulics. Original working tach only shows 3,600 hours on tractor. New engine has run less than five hours since installation. Here is a list of everything that has been replaced on the tractor. Nos 1969 300 cummins v8 engine $7,200. Brand new cummins cylinder heads $1,500. Larger custom radiator/recore/rebuild $300. Labor to spilt tractor, remove old engine, install new one and replace cylinder heads, set the overhead/adjust valves etc $10,000. New deere hd clutch, flywheel resurface and assembly $1,550. Custom left and right k&m steps with dual hand rails, 3rd step and extend a step $1,500. New deere factory rops/aftermarket canopy $2,100. New rear rims with brand new good year dyna torque radials 20.8r38 tires $4,000. New heavy duty 8 bolt deere wheels with correct offset on new good year dyna rib 14lx16.1 10 ply tires $1,500. Original john deere 4520 cast cat 2/3 quick hitch and original hammer strap $550. New deere weight bracket with 6 suitcase weights. New deere steering wheel, factory deere battery boxes with new interstate batteries $600. New deluxe seat, side console covers, custom decals, nos cummins badges, stewart warner guages and the list goes on and on. As you can see there has been well over $40,000 spent on this tractor. Tractor runs excellent and doesn’t smoke after warm up.
