This tractor looks new and I baby it. There is cardboard on the floor since the first day it was bought. It even smells like when I first got it, because I keep the doors shut on it at all times. I keep the interior clean and use seat covers. It was always parked inside a temperature-controlled insulated enclosed barn so rubber hoses and tires are perfect without any dry rot or cracks. Please check out the cost of a new 6R185 or 6R195. We have several tractors that my ranch manager uses to maintain our ranch. This is my personal tractor that I use just for “fun” when mowing the pasture with my daughter. I bought it because the R is so luxurious. It has a buddy seat and is a lot more comfortable than a similar tractor with singles. My daughter has grown up now and doesn’t ride with me anymore, so I haven’t been using the tractor nearly as much as I used to. The tractor works perfectly without any issues or leaks. It was used just to run a 15′ shredder so the tires are not even worn. I had the shredder mounted on a hitch ball, so the draw bear has no wear. The tractor is meticulously maintained. It’s always on a battery tender when not in use. I only using Amsoil full synthetic oils and always use diesel additives to prevent engine wear. I always keep fresh diesel in it and warm up the tractor at least once a month to keep water out of the oil. When I run it, it’s usually run at higher RPMs, which is better for diesel engines. I only use Amsoil or TRC grease and do it more than the recommended frequency. I’m adamant about changing the air filters regularly… With these pre-DEF models, it’s also very easy to run a tuner to get 30-52 additional horsepower (approx 220-242 hp total) for fairly cheap. I was planning on doing this and possibly using this with a dirt pan, so I had JD install the 900# weights on the inner wheels. It has the deluxe cab with premium radio. The three hydraulic valves are electronic, so the cab is very quiet even at full throttle. The valves are breakaway. It has the AutoQuad transmission so one just pushes a button to change gears. It also has a monitor bracket, so my daughter and I could watch movies on her ipad while we mowed. The tint is 20% and is the most expensive 3M full ceramic. The AC blows ice cold. My daughter would often wear a jacket when it was 100 degrees outside. The heater also works perfectly. I added a JD quick-hitch that is category 3. I have never used it for its intended purpose, but it is really useful for tying up hydraulic hoses out of the way. The antenna is taken off for transport, but it is included along with the extra PTO shaft and manual. Again, this tractor is one of the cleanest you will be able to find anywhere. Should be cheaper than one can find anywhere else (with similar condition/hours). I will even price-match if you can find one cheaper. Please note that a deposit will need to be paid for me to hold the tractor for you.
