1956 John Deere 40-V Special 40V High Crop Tractor TWO! Ie 420-v 430-v 420v 430v. Here to sell are TWO (2) rarer to find 40-V Vegetable Special High Crop Tractors. &###xA0; They are consecutive number tractors and the owner would like to sell them as such. The first 40-V was fully and beautifully restored and rebuilt in 2018 from front to back: engine, transmission, final drives and more. &###xA0; New paint, all new tires. &###xA0; Front end is &###xA0;super tight like new new including tie rods, etc.. &###xA0; Completely overhauled engine with receipt. &###xA0; Top to bottom. &###xA0; Hydraulic unit was taken apart and restored with all new parts too. &###xA0; 1956 Serial # 60013. The other 40V does run. &###xA0; Front tires hold air and the rears are probably 98% and very good as shown. &###xA0; Has new radiator bushings. &###xA0; It is 6 volt and was rewired and is charging good. &###xA0; Oil pressure is perfect at high. &###xA0; Serial #60012&###xA0; Clean gas tank. &###xA0; Has new PTO shaft with it. &###xA0; They had a higher ground clearance than most other tractors in the 40 line. The serial number plate on these tractors state “40-V”. &###xA0; This tractor was a one row tractor&###xA0; used in farming bushy crops like tomatoes. &###xA0; With only 329 units built, it’s the second lowest produced 40. &###xA0; Production on the 40V began in October of 1954 for the 1955 model year, with serial # 60001 and continued until October of 1955 ending with #60329. &###x200B;&###x200B;&###x200B;&###x200B;&###x200B;&###x200B;&##x200B.
