DSC 0001 – YouTube. Video will open in a new window. This is a really good Ford 7700. It shows only 3293 hours on a working original hour meter. But, I believe they are. Starts great in cold weather. Smooths right out and runs really sweet. Auxiliary hydraulics are strong and responsive. 3-point hitch is strong and responsive. PTO works as designed – turns on and off correctly. Steps on both sides for easy on and off. Lights don’t work. (I haven’t investigated). Paint fair – belly and lift are original – the sheet metal has been touched because original paint was faded. I really like this tractor. I’ve had many of these. The engine and hydraulics seem especially healthy on this one. Like I said above, When You get it and operate it, You are going to like it too. Series IV , Gas powered. (See pics)with factory loader and Oxnard rear scraper. This D17 underwent a complete restoration in 2005. New valves, head gasket, water pump, HD clutch, brakes, tires, paint, seat, guages, steering wheel, hoses. The tin is in great shape, New paint has held up well, except for a few scratches from landscape efforts around the house. STARTS AND RUNS EXCELLENT. Brand new seals in bucket rams just installed. Bucket Is from a 190xt and has diamond plate bottom. Will include the Oxnard/AC scraper/blade pictured. 1964 model year tractor. Includes Wheel weights as pictured. This 3000 diesel runs and operates really well. It has factory power steering that steers easy. No excessive smoke or blowby. Tachometer reads around 1300 hours. But, is not working. The loader is a quick attach as well as the bucket. This tractor is not perfect. Mechanically, I know of no problems with it. Cosmetically, it has dents, scratches, and other blemishes. You will never be sorry you bought the largest HP compact John Deere made in the pre tier 4 emission tractors. I have not bought newer tractor from any company yet with tier 4 emissions. We deal with several dealers and I just do not see the value of having to deal with all the added problems and issues that seem to be coming up on these newer units that were built after 2013 with tier 4 emissions. This 1050 John Deere is in good condition and ready to work. It has live PTO. It has Power Steering that works great. It was 18 degrees here yesterday. This tractor started right up. (that says a lot about the condition of the engine). No smoke and no blowby. Tachometer is working and reads 1492 hours. Warning lights work – oil and temperature. These tractors were made from 1980 through 1989. The serial number plate is located just under the pto shaft. This one has been knocked off. The seat is new. It had the original seat when I got it. But, the upholstery was torn up. The paint is good and looks original. The tires are good. Pretty sure the back ones came on it. The fenders are not perfectly straight.
