I have decided to down size my tractor collection a bit. This unit went through an excellent restoration. It runs, sounds, and works great! The other unique thing with this unit, is that it was only made, in this color scheme, for 2 years. This was during the era when Ferguson and Massey Harris were joining forces, and were still keeping the tractor lines separate from each other. This cream/red and silver paint combo was only done during the 56-57 year era. Its a very cool looking piece! This unit was ahead of its time, with independent PTO via a 2 stage clutch. Condition is Used and nicely restore I guess about 6years. It has a dozer blade on front, a rear plow , and a 42 woods mower. When you look at the rear PTO pulley you can see they have never spun the mower. The restorer has past away over three years ago. I bought this tractor from the person that bought from the restorers estate sale. Thats all I know about the restoration. It is very nice , not perfect but very nice. Now about the tractor. It pers like a kitten. The hydraulic works, the pot works, fresh tuneup. New rear tires and rims. Front tires are a year old. The lights work, as well does generator charge. This is a restored 1975 John Deere 6030 with serial number 35710R. Custom paint on hood and front panels to match Harley Davidson metallic black. Sheet metal is original, and steel.
