1957 John Deere 720 Diesel Standard serial number 7211132, this tractor runs very good it is running in the photos, it is a pony start, the pony motor runs well it smokes a little but it will fire up big motor instantly instantly, the big motor runs excellent good oil pressure and no smoke, it has very good working power steering, the wide front is original and in very good condition, the front rims are John Deere 1276R with 90% tread good tires, the rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 18.4/30 Firestone at 90% tread in like new, the front lights are new the rear light is original, seat cushions are new, has a PTO shield and a original John Deere step, has a new battery box, new tool box and one new dust shield, has a float ride seat, the tach works reads 7793 hours, the fenders are good and solid I took a photo of one of them for you to see the inside is not rusted, the sheetmetal is very original and solid and in nearly excellent condition it is very straight and free of dents look at photos close it is nice, there are a few dings but nothing major it would restore easily, has an original air stack, the clutch, brakes, PTO, transmission and hydraulics all work very good, this is a very nice original tractor, it is ready to go to work or be restored, it is a very complete Excellent Original tractor really needs nothing easy restore. 1955 John Deere 70 Gas Standard serial number 7032832, this tractor is running in the photos, it runs excellent no smoke and good oil pressure, it has the rare factory rockshaft so you can put a three point on if desired, has spark plug covers, has a original tach. But not working, has a cylinder hanger, original generator, all guages were replaced, the PTO, Hydraulics, clutch and transmission all work very good, it has a PTO shield, John Deere step, the rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 18.4/0 at 50% tread older with a few cracks but nice tires, the sheetmetal is very solid it has a few dings but solid with nice paint, the manifold is cracked, this is a very nice tractor they didnt make many 70 gas standards, it is ready for the parades or shows, you can idle it down as low as it will go and it keeps on running, very nice tractor use as is or wouldnt take much to make it a show tractor. 1956 john deere 60 standard hi seat serial number 6058020, this tractor came out of a small collection where it has been for the last 15 years it was being used not just setting it starts runs and drives excellent, it has a rockhsaft ont he rear so you could add a three point hitch if desired, the guy i got it from had a three point on it and was using it, but he borrowed the hitch from someone else and had to give it back to the owner that is why it is not on the tractor now. The tractor does have factory power steering that does work excellent, only 2584 of the 60 standards were oproduced with a considerable less number with power steering and a rock shaft, the tractor runs excellent it always starts right up with no smoke and good oil pressure, the clutch, brakes and transmission are all good, pto works good, has all three lights, sheetmetal solid but does have a few dings, paint is nice not professional but good, the rear fenders are solid one of them does have some wrinkles on the bottom corner, the charging system does work, the tractor has a factory tach but is not working, rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 16.9/30 at 90% tread and in very good condition, one front tire is good th eother has a little bulge on side wall. 1959 john deere 630 gas standard, there was not many of these produced, these are rare and hard to find and do not come for sale very often, this tractor is in excellent original condition, the paint is original, the grill screens, battery box, tires, rear rims and it has the correct steps on it that are new, the rest of tractor is original, the tractor has a air stack, float ride seat, spark plug covers original generator, like i mentioned earlier it has a new battery box, the steps are new and correct for the tractor, the grill screens are new, rims are in excellent condition, the rear tires are 18.4/30 firestone 23 degree and are brand new these cost over $2000, the tractor has power steering, the clutch, transmission and brakes all work good, the sheetmetal is in excellent original condition you may find a few dings but you will look hard, it ismissing the tach. The fenders are excellent they are solid and have no rust on them on the inside or outside i did include a photo of the inside of fenders, has a good strong motor no smoke and very good oil pressure. I bought this tractor out of an estate out west, it is a dry westernland tractor, it has not run much in the last three years it is running in the photos, it could use some fine tuning but has a good motor, carb could be cleaned or rebuilt, wouldnt hurt to put new plugs, points in but it will fire right up every time with good oil pressure and no smoke, no breaks or welds on tractor the front end is good with no breaks on it. 1958 john deere 720 diesel standard tractor serial number 7221728, this tractor is running in the photos, it came out of a estate where it has been sitting in a shed for the last 15 years and only run a couple of times, it runs good, does not smoke, the pony motor runs and fires up every time, does smoke a little, the big diesel motor fires up instantly, the pony motor clutch does grind once in a while, you need to pull it back a inch and then start the big motor then it doesnt grind, i think it is out of adjustment, the fenders are solid, i took a photo of the inside of one of them, the power steering does work but sometimes it will be sluggish and turn hard, the sheetmetal is solid, has a few dings but would restore easily, fenders are good, the wide front is good with no welds or breaks, the pto works good and has a pto shield, also has a cylinder hanger, the seat is a float ride seat and has newer seat cushions, has a new muffler, tach is not working, rims are good there is a lttle rust starting by the valve stem, just starting and will last for many years, the rear tires are 18.4/30 at 40% and older tires with some cracks, this tractor starts good the big motor is very good and strong, pony always fires right up but smokes a little and needs some adjustment but will fire big motor instantly, the clutch is good, brakes, pto and transmission all work good, it has been shedded for 15 years and not run much if at all, it would be a good one to restore or just add to your collection.The item “1958 John Deere 720 Standard Diesel Antique Tractor NO RESERVE” is in sale since Saturday, September 27, 2014. I bought this tractor with intentions to finishing restoring it since all it needs is paint. I just can’t find the time so i decided to sell it and finsih up other projects. The pony motor fires up and runs perfect. I just put all new ignition parts in it and rebuilt the carb. It idles and revs up nice and smooth and doesn’t smoke. It sounds good and starts the big motor with ease. The big motor fires up as soon as you let out on the decompression lever. It sits there and runs smooth, doesn’t smoke, blow oil or anything of that sort. It has good power and bounces the front tires when it’s idling. The injector pump and injectors were gone through not long ago. The power steering works with and correctly. The clutch was just completely redone and works perfect. The transmission goes into all of the gears as it should and doesn’t make any excessive noise. All in all the tractor is mechanically excellent and low houred. Nothing is worn or shot on the tractor. It has a brand new set of bf goodrich tires all the way around. The fronts are 7.50/18s and the rears are 18.4 30s. The rear rims are also brand new and were replaced when the new tires were installed. There is over 2 grand spent on just rims and tires. All of the tin work is good and straight and would clean up easily. It is rare to find a tractor in this good of shape. All of the mechanical work is done.
