1958 John Deere 620
This is an excellent example of an original tractor. I bought it off a local estate where it was a one owner tractor! The guy had bought it brand new from reeser farm equipment in mendota il(you can still see the dealer stickler partially). The tractor has never been repainted and still has the original set of firestone tires he siad. The tractor starts up and runs pretty good. It had sat in a barn since the late 90s and we put an new set of points, spark plugs and carb kit in it. It fired right up and idles nicely. Sometimes it will sputter a little and act like it’s running out of gas. But it’s been getting a lot better and has been good and reliable. Charges and i just put a brand new ignition switch in it. The gauges are all original and never been replaced! The transmission shifts into all of the gears good and is quite. The brakes work and clutch work good aswell.
The cooling system is full of fluid. The rear tires are about 60% tread and have never been replaced, the rims are in good shape aswell. The tin work is good and straight. It could used a couple grille screens. It’s hard to find a tractor in this original of shape!
