He had not used it in 2 years so i went through the carb and the tank was empty so it looked good. I switched ti to 12 volt and i put the pertronic electronic ignition on it and it fires up and runs great. The tranny brakes and all other parts of the tractor work as they should. The issues that will need to be addressed in time are it has a very slow seep out of the power steering hydraulic ram, the tach does not work, and the rear rims are rusty but still usable. The lh is the worse. I put a canopy on it and roll over bar for safety. Also i pulled the original seat (it goes with the tractor) and put a nice comfortable bucket seat on it with seat belts. It runs and drives just fine. I just had it running on kerosene today and drove it in my yard. The clutch, brake, and transmission work good, not noisy. It doesn’t show and signs of excessive wear. The air cleaner has rust holes in it. The magneto has just been rebuilt. It has had new rings replaced in the past few years. Original paint, hasn’t been repainted that I know of. You are looking at a pretty decent older Allis Chalmers model D-15 , Series ll Gas Tractor with the Wide Front axle and a 3-Point Hitch Kit. Tractor starts easy and runs good with no smoke. Tractor is running in the pictures. Pretty decent straight tin work. Real good tires , front and rear. The brakes are pretty decent. Power director seems to work good. It does have a couple of oil leaks that come along with an old used tractor. The worse thing I can say about it is that it does jump out of 3rd gear (like they all do) Other than that it seems to be a pretty decent older tractor, but keep in mind it is over 40 years old and it is not perfect. If you are not satisfied with it when you get here, you do not have to take it. If you have any questions just ask.
